Principal Secretary PDD took introductory meeting with officers of KPDCL
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 27: Principal Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department (PDD), H. Rajesh Prasad today took an introductory review meeting with the officers of Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL).
The Principal Secretary was briefed by the Managing Director KPDCL Yasin M Choudhary regarding the organizational structure, asset and working of KPDCL. The progress of installation of Smart Meters and Winter preparedness was also reviewed.
The Engineers were directed by the Principal Secretary to complete all the works as per schedule and increase the revenue realization to reduce the AT&C loss to target committed under RDSS.

The Principal Secretary also reviewed the progress of IT Projects including SCADA & RT-Das. The progress of RDSS was also reviewed by him and directed the officers to complete the tendering process of the scheme well in time.

Lateef Ahmad Shah, Chief Engineer Projects, KPDCL; Dr. Desh Raj Bhagat, Additional Secretary PDD; Dr. Tahir Firdous, Additional Secretary PDD; Mohammad Sultan Malik, Director Finance, PDD; Superintending Engineers and Executive Engineers of KPDCL.
