Two foreigners among six JeM militants killed in saperate south Kashmir encounters, terms it a big success for forces : IGP Kashmir
Srinagar, 30 Dec (PTK) :Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday said that two foreigners and two locals were among six militants killed in two separate encounters in southern areas of Anantnag and Kulgam district .
As per Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK), the Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said that six militants of proscribed militant outfit JeM killed in two separate encounters at Kulgam and Anantnag, adding that 4 among the killed militants have been identified so far as (2) Pakistani & (2) local militants and identification of other 02 militants is being ascertained and terms it a big success for security forces.
The encounters took place in Dooru shahabad Anantnag and mirhama Kulgam areas of the South Kashmir districts on Wednesday evening . While three JeM militants were killed in the Shahabad operation, three were killed in the mirhama Kulgam gunfight.
Earlier the kashmir zone police informed through a tweet that during the initial exchange of firing between militants and security forces at dooru Anantnag encounter , a police cop were injured and has been Shifted to Hospital for advanced treatment.(PTK)
