Two AGH activists arrested as forced bust hideout in Shopian
SRINAGAR JUNE(PTK) Police on Sunday said that a hideout in the house of man associated with Ansar Ghazwatul Hind (AGH) was busted and recovered arms and ammunition in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Official sources said that police party from Shopian, soldiers from 1 Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF 178 Battalion raided the house of an AGH activist Muhammad Amin Wani alias Molvi at Safnagri Zainapora and busted a hideout located in his house.
They said two magazines and 15 rounds of AK-47 rifle, a Grenade and 2 pouches were recovered from the hideout.
The house owner and a 23 year old youth Aqib Manzoor Sheikh of Babapora were apprehended.
Police registered an FIR vide number 81/2020 under section 188, 19, 23, 38, 39, 20 ULAP Act, 7/25 Arms Act(PTK)
