Two absconders apprehended in Ramban:- Police

SRINAGAR (PTK) :- Two absconders have been apprehended in Ramban district of Jammu division.

An official told that the police parties of Police Station Ramban apprehended two absconders identified as Kulbir Singh son of Mohan Singh resident of Marog Tehsil Ramban who was involved in Case FIR No. 142/2022 U/S 420/376 IPC and Ahmed Din @ Molvi Sajad son of Bashir Ahmed resident of Humkund Dundrath Tehsil Ramban involved in case FIR No.126/2022 U/S 354 IPC, 7/8 POCSO Act.

They were evading their arrest from the last one year and both the apprehended absconders have been produced in the court of law for judicial determination, he said.

The arrests were effected by the teams of Police Station Ramban under the command of *Insp Anil Choudhary SHO PS Ramban under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen JKPS with the overall supervision of SSP Ramban Ms Mohita Sharma IPS, he said.
