Director Animal Husbandry Jammu inspects facilities at Central Veterinary Hospital.
JAMMU, OCTOBER 08(PTK): Director Animal Husbandry Department Jammu Dr. Jugal Kishore today conducted an inspection of Central Veterinary Hospital here at Talab Tillo.
Accompanied by Deputy Director Planning and Technical officer, he inspected various sections including Superintendent’s Office, Radiology, pathology, OPD & Surgical sections.
The Director reviewed the overall functioning of the hospital and took stock of the Veterinary healthcare- services, availability of medicines and essential facilities, infrastructure, cleanliness and patient management.
The Hospital Superintendent Dr Safeer Ahmed Tak briefed the Director about various tests, surgeries etc being performed in the hospital.
Director, Dr. Yugal Kishore interacted with the Veterinary officers and other staff and sought feedback regarding the day-to-day functioning of the hospital. He emphasized the need for prompt, efficient and quality veterinary services for livestock owners and pet owners visiting the hospital.
The Director instructed the concerned officers and staff to ensure proper Maintenance of hospital facilities, cleanliness, systematic record-keeping and timely delivery of veterinary services. He also stressed the importance of addressing the genuine requirements and grievances of the visiting public in a responsive manner.
The Director further underscored the importance of team work, discipline and accountability in strengthening veterinary healthcare delivery. He directed the concerned functionaries to work with dedication towards improving services(PTK)
