Transporters, Shopkeepers of Banihal town observe shutdown over shifting of Bus stand

Banihal , 28 August (PTK) : The local transporters and shopkeepers of banihal town observe complete shutdown on the call of Bioparmandal Banihal to demand passenger vehicles should be allowed to run from the old bus stand.
According to press trust of Kashmir a complete shutdown is being observed by the local transporters and shopkeepers in Banihal town, due to which the normal life affected the most.
The Bioparmandal Banihal has demanded that local passenger vehicles should be allowed to run from the old bus stand in Banihal town , which has been removed from the Banihal town by the administration to control traffic jam in the town.
Bioparmandal president Banihal Naseer Ahmed Wani told Media that they don’t want to go on indefinite strike but the adminstration did not allowed passenger vehicles to run from Banihal town despite repeated requests to the administration.
He said our demand is to allow one vehicle of each link road to run from Bus stand Banihal as the public is facing badly to board the vehicles to reach their destinations.
He adds that the administration has set up temporary parking space at four different places around the Banihal , which is away from town thus causing indescribable difficulties to general commuters, patients and school children coming in Banihal town and said they would continue the strike till our demands not be full filled by the administration.(PTK).
