Toy grenade lobbed at DC Shopian residence  

SRINAGAR, JUNE 11 (PTK): A toy grenade was lobbed at the residence of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian on Monday.

A police official said that around 9:45 am some miscreants hurled a grenade like item towards the official residence of DC Shopian which failed to explode.

“The device turned out to be a dummy grenade as a bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot to defuse the device” he added. (PTK)
