Top commander of TRF killed in brief shootout in Srinagar

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR | SRINAGAR : Top wanted and top commander of militant outfit the resistance front and his associate  were killed in a shootout at Aloochi Bagh area of Srinagar on Monday.

An official said that a shootout took place at Khad Mill ground at Aloochi Bagh Srinagar after operation was launched there on specific input.

He identified the duo as the Abbas sheikh from Qaimoh Kulgam and Saqib from Srinagar.

Abbas was one of the longest surviving militants of the J&K and was the operational commander of TRF.(PTK).
