Those who were talking of protecting lands, grabbed property worth crores under Roshni scam*

*BJP has done what it had promised: Manzoor Bhat*

*Put all accused behind the bars and complete investigation immediately*

Srinagar, Nov 24 (PTK) BJP’s Kashmir unit on Wednesday said that those who were talking of protecting lands of people have looted property worth crores in the Roshni land scam and urged investigation agencies to put the accused behind the bars.

Party’s leader and Kashmir Media-In-charge Manzoor Bhat in a statement said Roshni land scam has opened the eyes of people and has exposed the regional party leaders who were talking of land laws and other things.

He urged investigation agencies to nap the culprits and put them behind the bars. The Roshni land scam has exposed the ill designs of regional parties who looted the resources and built their properties, Bhat said.

He said BJP has done what it had promised before coming to power in centre. Those who were talking of that Jammu and Kashmir is on sale after Article 370 abrogation had grabbed property worth thousands of crores under the shadow of Roshni act, Bhat said.

He said they should first give away the land first and then talk of such things. After witnessing such scams, people should be aware of such things before casting their precious votes in upcoming District Development Councils (DDC) and Panchayat polls.

“They should choose the real representatives for them who have agenda of development and progress for Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

Bhat said people will see in upcoming days that how many politicians and so-called leaders of regional parties will be released in upcoming days.

“There will be audit for everything and justice will be delivered to people. No one will be allowed to grab illegally now,” he said.

As per Bhat some wards and relatives of regional parties’ politicians of NC and PDP have built their businesses on the land and some are even running NGOs on the same land.

“People are happy with the investigation in the Roshni scam and are praising both centre government and Lieutenant Governor led administration for the timely action against such politicians, who grabbed the illegal land,” he added.

The J&K High Court has declared the Roshni Act “illegal, unconstitutional and unsustainable” and a CBI probe has been ordered into the allotment of land under this law.

“The list of allotments is very long and hundreds of Kanals was transferred to high profile leaders and influential bureaucrats in the region, all should be investigated,” Bhat said.(PTK)
