Virat Kohli, Indian Cricket team captain looked fresh and pumped after the defeats while leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the just concluded IPL. The defeats did not leave him jaded and if you think so, you don’t know about him.

In a pre-departure presser for the  World Cup on Tuesday, Indian cricket captain with coach Ravi Shastri answered the questions thrown at him with a straight bat.

When a person was mentally drained, it would be better to add wisdom for a better future. It seems Kohli did the same after the six straight defeats in the first half of the IPL. He said, “The most important thing I learnt that even if it is a must-win game, you can’t think in your room the day before what might happen or what might not happen. You have to just arrive that day and do your skills to the best of your ability. You have to accept things the way they are, that is the biggest learning”.  He was a bit philosophical while that narrative.

He used the term ‘most challenging’ while talking about the performance of team India in the ICC World Cup.

The first match would be on June 5 and India will take on South Africa at Southampton.
