Teacher Killed, Another Injured in Shopian Road Accident

SRINAGAR: A tragic road accident in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday claimed the life of a teacher and left another person injured.

Officials told news agency Press Trust of Kashmir, the accident took place at Largam, Shopian, when a vehicle collided with a motorcyclist. The incident resulted in the death of Riyaz Ahmad Dar, a teacher and resident of Kundalan, Shopian. The injured individual has been identified as Sajad Ahmad Shah from Largam, who has been transported to a hospital for medical treatment.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
