Sumbal Bandipora witnesses brisk polling

Bandipora, (PTK): The election for the municipal committee Sumbal is witnessing brisk polling as more and more people are turning up to cast their votes.

Till 9:00 am, 748 people turned up at the polling booth to cast their votes. These include 435 male and 313 female voters. The voter turnout at 9:00 am was recorded 9.41 percent.

Out of 13, polling is underway on 11 wards in Sumbal. Candidates in two of the wards, 1 and 8, have been declared elected unopposed. (PTK)
