Snowfall Forces Closure of Bandipora-Gurez Road

Srinagar, April 10 (PTK): Ongoing snowfall at Razdan Top has led to the suspension of traffic along the Bandipora-Gurez road, officials said on Wednesday.

Speaking to PTK News Agency, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Gurez confirmed that the route has been closed as a safety precaution and will stay shut until further notice.

He added that clearance operations will begin as soon as weather conditions permit and urged the public to refrain from traveling on the route unless absolutely necessary.
