Six year old boy dies after falling in pond in Shopian

SRINAGAR (PTK):- A six-year-old boy lost his life after he fell in a pond behind his school in Sedow area of Shopian on Tuesday.

An official said that a mentally unsound minor student fell in a pond during lunch time behind government school in Sedow.

He was immediately evacuated by locals and was taken to o PHC Sedow where doctors declared him dead.

He has been identified as Farhan Muzaffar (06) son of Muzaffar Ahmad Lone resident of Sedow Heerpora.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.

Locals said that incident took place only as school is without fencing and had there been fencing, this incident won’t have come to fore.(PTK)
