Shopkeeper Stabbed to Death in Gandarbal

SRINAGAR : A shopkeeper was tragically killed in a stabbing incident at his shop in Perpora, Kachan area of Central Kashmir’s Gandarbal district on Saturday, officials reported.

According to an official source, the shopkeeper was attacked with a sharp-edged knife in Perpora Kachan this afternoon, resulting in severe injuries. The victim, identified as Fayaz Ahmad Dar, 32, son of Gh Haasan Dar from Perpora Kachan, was immediately taken to the hospital for medical attention.

Despite efforts to save him, Fayaz Ahmad was declared brought dead upon arrival at SKIMS, Soura.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack. Further details are awaited as the inquiry progresses.
