Several leaders including 5 former MLAs resign from Congress in support of Azad

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR AUG 26:-In support of Gh Nabi Azad and major setback to Congress in J & Kashmir, several leaders including few of its former legislators resigned from the party.

Those who resigned from the party include GM Saroori, Choudhary Muhammad Akram, Muhammad Amin Bhat, Gulzar Ahmad and Abdur Rashid Dar.

Interestingly, Rashid had already resigned from the part.

Moreover Former minister and MLC R S Chib on Friday also resigned from membership of Congress.

“I feel that the best course of action for me would be to party ways with your party, he said.
