Sarpanch association protests against hike in monthly tariffs by PDD in Kangan

Submitted memorandum to SDM Kangan

They marched to SDM Office kangan and submitted memorandum in SDM office where officers including SDM assured the association that this issue will be taken up with concerned officials and it will be sortey out within days.

Atta Mohd qamar, a Sarpanch told PTK that people of Kangan are very poor and they won’t be able to bear this burden.

He said that if this issue won’t be solved at an earliest, they will come on roads.

BDC kangan mohd yousaf paswal said that we are thank full of the govt that they empowered the panchayat bodies but we are not with govt regards hiking of Electricity fee , it injustice with poor peoples how the poor will pay this fee when they are facing difficulties in meeting two ends.

He said that LG administration must intervene at an earliest so that poor people won’t suffer.

DDC Miam Majid said this is totally injustice with poor people of Subdivision kangan as in this subdivision majority people are poor and how they will pay fee.

People requested government to look into the matter and take immediate steps in this regard.:-PTK.
