J&K Police Conducts Narcotics Raids in Awantipora; Awareness Programme Organised

Awantipora, May 24 (PTK): Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday continued its anti-drug operations under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan by conducting raids at multiple locations in Awantipora to curb narcotics-related activities.

According to police, raids were carried out in areas including Sail and Beighpora as part of sustained efforts to identify individuals involved in illegal drug-related activities and dismantle narcotics networks.

As part of the awareness and preventive campaign, Jammu and Kashmir Police also organised an awareness programme at Sumo Stand Awantipora, where members of the public were sensitised about the harmful effects of drug abuse.

During the programme, people were encouraged to actively support the campaign against substance abuse and contribute towards building a drug-free society.

Police reiterated its commitment to continue stringent action against drug peddlers while simultaneously strengthening public awareness and community participation under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan.(PTK)
