Release salaries of five months of teachers before 15th Feb or face uncontrollable hurly-burly: Shah Fayaz
SRINAGAR, (PTK): The Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers both Regularised & un-Regularised including Head teachers & RMSA Masters who were earlier getting their salaries from Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan have been waiting eagerly for disbursement of their salaries of last five months through treasury route and it is sixth month in progress for them without salaries but it was apparently quoted in the previous passed Govt. order vide No:34 Edu of 2019 dtd:31/01/019 that all their pending salaries will be released through Samagra route till their formal conversion as grade-II teacher instead through treasury route but unfortunately no reality of such formal commitment came to be seen till time at ground level.
Due to the prolonged pendency of salaries, their families have been pushed to un-explanatory & uncountable hardships. Now in order to realise the year full & victimised financial conditions of the erstwhile SSA teachers, Head teachers & RMSA Masters, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir SSA Teachers Association Shah Fayaz has painstakingly urged the authorities to release their all outstanding salaries instantly on war-scale basis without any undefined, unconstitutional & unnecessary delay before 15th of ongoing month in order to avoid statewide combustion or agitation.
According to the Chairman JKSSATA, these teachers are facing various financial constraints to run their families having not a single penny in their pockets to purchase & suffice their basic essential commodities like food items, clothes, fee dues of children and medicinal aid etc. for their dependents during the ongoing cold winter. They are not in a position to pay due time EMIs to the banks for their earlier availed loan advances. Some teachers have been declared defaulters for not paying the loan instalments as per the committed bank agreement deed.
Their financial conditions are extremely miserable & prodigious due to callous & lilting consideration of ruling regime.
Chairman has urged the authorities particularly to His excellency the Governor Satya Paul Malik ,Worthy Advisor to Governor Khursheed Ahmad Ganie, Worthy Principal Secretary Finance Mr. Navin Kumar Choudhary and Worthy Secretary Education Mr. Ajeet Kumar Sahu to intervene into the matter with positive mindset & sympathetic hand and get the salaries of said aggrieved teachers released with utmost preference without any further delay, So that they may feel a sigh of relief & get-out from existing mental trauma, commotion, ambiguity & financial crunch in these chilly & unfavorable weathering circumstances.
Noticing the undefined, intolerable, super-sensitivity & financial wows of the erstwhile SSA teachers, Head teachers & RMSA Masters, the strong headed platform of J&K SSA teachers association have unanimously decided to commence a statewide agitation in all the three regions of the state if the payable salaries of previous five months will not be released before 15th of February 019 & the unpleasant consequences of the same agitation will lie upon the shoulders of top-named bureaucrats of the Governor’s administration.
