Pulwama encounter:- Militant, Solider Killed, search operation on

Pulwama August  12 (PTK) A solider who got injured during exchange of fire in Kamrazipora area of Pulwama in wee hours of Wednesday has succumbed to his injuries while as a body of militant was retrieved from the spot

An official said that one among two soldiers who received bullet injuries during exchange of fire at around 2:30 am at Kamrazipora had succumbed to his injuries while as other one is stable

Solider who succumbed has been identified as Jagjit singh, he said, adding that search operation is underway in the area to nab the militants.

He said that during search operation, body of an unidentified militant was also recovered from the spot.

Earlier an official said that a brief exchange of fire took place Wednesday between militants and government forces in orchards of Kamrazipora area of Pulwama district.(PTK)
