Prompt Redress of Public Grievances Government’s Prime Focus: Javid Dar
Srinagar, May 11 (PTK): Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department Javid Ahmad Dar on Sunday said that prompt redress of public grievances remains the prime focus of the present dispensation to ensure responsive and people-centric governance in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Minister made these remarks during an interaction with several public delegations from different parts of the Kashmir Division at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar.
During the meeting, the delegations highlighted various public issues and developmental concerns related to repair and upgradation of roads and streets, transfer-related matters, irrigation water supply and other civic and infrastructure requirements in their respective areas.
Giving a patient hearing to the delegations, Javid Ahmad Dar assured them that all genuine issues would be addressed in a time-bound manner through close coordination with the concerned departments.
He reiterated that sustained public outreach and direct interaction with people are essential for ensuring transparent, accountable and efficient governance.
The Minister said that the government led by Omar Abdullah is working with dedication to strengthen basic infrastructure, improve service delivery mechanisms and ensure equitable development across the Union Territory.
Javid Dar also directed the concerned officers to take immediate cognizance of the issues raised and initiate necessary measures for their early resolution.(PTK)
