Police arrests drug peddler in Baramulla; contraband substance recovered
Press Trust Of Kashmir September 01: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
Officers from PS Boniyar under the supervision of SDPO Uri Shri Junaid Wali-JKPS arrested one drug peddler during naka checking at Kessi Morh near Trikanajan Boniyar and recovered 43grams of Herion like substance from his possession. He has been identified as Bilal Ahmad Ganai Son of Ab Gaffar Ganai resident of Trikanjan Boniyar. He has been shifted to police station where he remains in custody.

Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Boniyar and investigation set in motion.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt as per law.
