The Indian Army has apprehended Zaher Hussein Shah, a resident of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and a suspected guide for the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba. The arrest took place in the Poonch district, as confirmed by local police authorities.

 

Shah’s capture is considered a crucial step in the ongoing efforts to curb cross-border terrorism. He is believed to have been aiding and abetting terrorist activities in the region, facilitating the infiltration of militants into Indian territory.
