Press trust of Kashmir | Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of veteran Party Member and oldest Halaqa President Abdul Ahad Dar of Majeed Bagh, Baghat Srinagar.

In their condolence message, Dr Farooq and Omar Abdullah paid glowing tributes to the deceased, prayed for peace to his departed soul and much needed strength to the bereaved family to bear the inconsolable loss.  Recalling his immense contribution towards the party, the duo said the passing away of Abdul Ahad Dar Sahib has left a deep vacuum in the party’s local unit which will be impossible to fill for many years to come. The President and Vice President have also expressed unison with the grief stricken family in their hour of grief.
