National Lok Adalat held at Anantnag, Bijebhera

SRINAGAR, (PTK): National Lok Adalat was organised by the District Legal Services Authority Anantnag today, at District Court Complex Anantnag. Six Benches were constituted for holding of the said National Lok Adalat, all over the district, under the supervision of Principal District & Sessions Judge Anantnag, Syed Tawqeer Ahmad, who is also the Chairman District Legal Services Authority Anantnag.

Out of 157 cases, related to recovery suits, MACT, Electricity cases, Civil and Matrimonial cases, taken up in the said National Lok Adalat, a total settlement amount of Rs.9919966 was awarded in favour of 66 amicably settled cases.

Meanwhile under the supervision of Mobile Magistrate,Mohd Ashraf bhat in bijebhera court complex more than hundred cases were settled amicably .
People have lauded the role of judiciary in Anantnag and Bijebhera. (PTK)
