Major tragedy averted as IED defused in Doda

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : A major tragedy was averted as an improvised explosive device (IED) was detected by the security forces in the Ghat area of Doda district on late Wednesday evening.

An official said that after information of the suspicious material was received, police and CRPF rushed to the spot and found a in a bag which was later on defused.

Police has set investigation into motion in this regard, he said.:-PTK.
