LG visits Ganderbal, takes stock of developmental work, covid Management

Ganderbal August 18 (PTK) Lt Governor Manoj Sinha visited Ganderbal in central Kashmir on Tuesday and reviewed developmental scenario in the district and he took stock of COVID19 management in the district

Officials saod that the LG chaired a high level meeting of officers at mini secretariat Ganderbal where he was accompanied by Advisor to the LG Baseer Ahmed Khan, Chief Secretary BVR Subramanyam, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir PK Pole, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar besides several senior officers of civil and police administration.

During the meeting, the DDC Ganderbal Shafqat Iqbal briefed the LG about various developmental works being undertaken and measures taken by the administration to effectively deal with the COVID19 pandemic.

Later LG met with number of delegations including Chairpersons of Block Development Councils, Municipal Council members, Sarpanches and civil society members and LG later visited Kangan sub division of Ganderbal on tuesday afternoon.

Officials said that during his visit he e-inaugurated 12 development projects, laid the e-foundation stone of 3 projects of public importance & inspected road widening/ 4 laning work from Pandach chowk to Beehama chowk.(PTK)
