LG Manoj Sinha Interacts with NCC Cadets at Special National Integration Camp in Srinagar
Srinagar, May 24 (PTK): Manoj Sinha on Saturday attended the “Special National Integration Camp” organised by the National Cadet Corps Directorate Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh and interacted with NCC cadets from across the country.
Addressing the cadets, the Lieutenant Governor said the special camp represents the spirit of India where every cadet is not only witnessing history but also actively shaping it.
He said India places immense trust and confidence in its youth and expects the younger generation to lead the nation to greater heights. He urged NCC cadets to honour that trust by living the values of the NCC and spreading them within their communities.
Manoj Sinha stated that diversity has always been India’s greatest strength and stressed the importance of transforming diversity into unity by promoting a shared national spirit.
He urged cadets to utilise the values of unity in diversity and leadership qualities learned during the camp for improving society and promoting patriotism among youth in their respective states and regions.
The Lieutenant Governor said NCC youth are both the strength of India today and the builders of its future. He added that despite rapid global changes, Indian youth remain confident and capable of facing emerging challenges with courage and skill.
“I want to emphasize that NCC cadets possess remarkable creative energy and readiness to move forward. This energy should be channelled with a clear purpose so that you can stand firm against every future challenge,” he said.
Referring to the NCC motto “Unity and Discipline,” the Lieutenant Governor called upon cadets to foster unity, resolve social issues through dialogue and contribute towards the vision of a developed India.
The event also featured cultural performances by NCC cadets showcasing India’s rich cultural diversity. The camp has brought together around 340 cadets and NCC officers from different parts of the country.
Among those present on the occasion were Virendra Vats, Balbir Singh, Anupinder Bevli, Abhijit Mitra, Anshul Garg, GV Sundeep Chakravarthy, Akshay Labroo and Naseer Ahmad Wani besides senior officials of NCC, Army, Police and civil administration.(PTK)
