LAWDA demolishes four illegal constructions in srinagar

Srinagar September 26 (PTK) The demolition team of the Enforcement Wing Lakes and Waterways Development Authority, demolished four illegal constructions including 03 tin wallings and one plinth at Habak, Siadakadal and Rainawwari.

An official said that these illegal constructions were constructed taking undue advantage of the Covid-19 Lockdown and in this regard two FIRs have been lodged against the illegal constructions as a deterrent and an alternative measure.

He further added that earth filling was removed at Nishat near LDA parking.

It is pertinent to mention here that amid Covid-19, when there is Lockdown everywhere the miscreants are taking undue advantage and indulging in illegal constructions but all such miscreants will not be allowed for any sort of violation and raising of illegal constructions/encroachments, he said

It is as such requested that all the public residing within the LDA jurisdiction are once again informed that not to go for any sort of illegal constructions /encroachments. As the Enforcement wing will continue with the demolition of illegal constructions, he added.

According to PTK, Meanwhile concerned authorities requested Tripper/Load carrier owners are directed not to carry any type of illegal construction material in the prohibited area of Dal/ Nigeen Lake without proper permission from the concerned agencies.(PTK)
