Maternal Uncle Ghulam Mohammad Mir Passes Away After Major Heart Attack
Srinagar, 23 Feb 2025(PTK): Prominent businessman from Koker Bazar, Ghulam Qadir Mir, passed away late last night at SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, after suffering a major heart attack. He was approximately 75 years old.
Ghulam Qadir was the maternal uncle of veteran trade leader and KTMF President Mohammad Sadiq Baqal and Koker Bazar President Farooq Ahmad Batqoo. His funeral prayers were held earlier today, and he was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard near Ziyarat Peer Dastageer Sahab (RA), Sarai Bala, Srinagar.
His demise has been widely condoled by the business community and social circles across the valley. Several trade leaders and prominent businessmen have expressed their grief, highlighting his contributions to the business sector and his legacy of integrity and dedication.
As per family sources, his Ijtimaiyee Fateh Khawani will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at his ancestral graveyard near Ziyarat Peer Dastageer Sahab (RA), Sarai Bala, Srinagar.
The business community has extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying for the departed soul’s eternal peace and strength for the family during this difficult time.(PTK).
