Kashmir Valley Blanketed in White as First Snowfall of the Season

The plains of the Kashmir Valley woke up to the enchanting beauty of the season’s first snowfall. Srinagar, Ganderbal, North Kashmir, and South Kashmir experienced heavy snowfall this morning, transforming the landscape into a winter wonderland.

 

Reports indicate that a fresh western disturbance is set to impact Jammu and Kashmir from today until February 1st. Anticipate light to moderate rain and snow across most places in J&K from today afternoon onwards until the night of February 1st, with the peak of activity expected on January 31st. There is a possibility of heavy snowfall over isolated middle and higher reaches of the Kashmir division.
