Kashmir reports its first dengue case
Srinagar, 26 Oct (PTK): A 22-year-old boy, who returned recently from chandigarh has been tested positive for dengue virus in Ajar area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, here on tuesday .
An official told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that kashmir valley reported its first dengue case today after a boy of Ajar village in Bandipora was tested positive for dengue infection.
He was brought to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura after complaining of high fever, tests were carried out and reports confirmed he was suffering from dengue and now is being treated at JVC hospital Bemina, he adds. (PTK).
