Death toll rises 2562 with fifty two new deaths

Srinagar, May 06 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported highest ever daily spike of 4926 fresh positive cases of COVID, and fifty two new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 201511.
These cases include 1685 from Jammu division and 3241 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.
The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports eighteen deaths, while Jammu division reports thirty four new deaths, taking the death toll to 2562 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 1070 cases were reported from Srinagar, 353 from Baramulla, 605 from Budgam, 171 from Pulwama, 124 from Kupwara, 314 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 90, Ganderbal 126, Kulgam 218, Shopian 170, Jammu 617, Udhampur 121, Rajouri 232, Doda 51, Kathua 200, Samba 131, Kishtwar 36, Poonch 124, Ramban 108 and Reasi 65.
Moreover, they said, 2836 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 1041 from Jammu division and 1795 from Kashmir division.
They further said, Out of 52 deaths, 19 died in GMC Jammu, 01 in MCH Wing(GMC), 01 in GMC Rajouri, 02 in GMC Kathua, 01 in SDH Mendhar, 07 in Home (Brought Dead), 01 in DH Udhampur, 01 in Florem Hospital Amritsar, 01 in CD Hospital Jammu, 03 in SKIMS JVC Bemina, 03 in SKIMS Soura, 02 in SMHS Srinagar, 02 in GMC Baramulla, 02 in DH Pulwama,03 in JLNM Srinagar and 03 in GMC Anantnag.
