In third attack in less than a week, 12 year old girl mauled to death in Bla
Press Trust of Kashmir| Srinagar:- In a third incident in less than a weeks time, a 12 year old girl was mauled to death in Batangi Boniyar of Baramulla district.
An official said that girl identified as Rutba Manzoor daughter of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat was attacked and taken into near by forests by a wild animal which most probably was a leopard on Tuesday.
He said that locals got alerted due to cries of the girl following which a massive rescue operation was started.
He added that all the efforts to rescue the girl went in vain as she was found dead.
It is pertinent to mention here that in last few days two minor boys were killed by wild animals in Cholan Kalsi Ghati and Trikanjan Boniyar areas of North Kashmir.:-PTK.
