Har Ghar Tiranga: DYS&S Kulgam organises rally
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KULGAM, AUGUST 01: The District Youth Service and Sports (DYS&S) Kulgam today organised a youth rally under the banner HAar Ghar Tiranga.
123 Students from different educational institutions of the zone Qaimoh participated in the event with zeal and zest.
Tehsildar Qaimoh, who was also chief guest on the occasion flagged-off the rally from HSS Qaimoh .
During the rally, students held placards depicting slogans regarding communal harmony, peace, national integration, etc.
Present on the occasion were principal HSS Qaimoh, ZPEO Qaimoh and physical education staff.
The rally culminated at BHSS Qaihom after moving through the Qaimoo market.

KVK Budgam holds seed, tool kit distribution programme at Drang
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR BUDGAM, AUGUST 01: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra Budgam in collaboration with DARS Budgam SKUAST-K today organised awareness cum seed and tool kit distribution programme at Drang (a remote tribal village of the district) here.
During the programme, free oats seed and tool kits were distributed among tribal farmers of the area. The material was distributed among the farmers under all India Research Coordinated Project (AICRP) on Forage Crops.
The programme was attended by Prof. Arshid A. Mughal, Associate Director (Directorate of Research SKUAST-K); Prof. Nasir Ahmad Dar (Directorate of Research SKUAST-K); Prof. Noorul Saleem Khuroo (AICRP Forage DARS Budgam); Dr. Zahida Rashid (Scientist DARS Budgam); Dr Bilal Ahmad Lone (Sr. Scientist & Head KVK Budgam) and Dr Sabia Akhter (Scientist KVK Budgam) besides progressive farmers of the area.
