Greengold Loot: llicit timber seized in Kangan “driver arrested”

Press Trust Of Kashmir | Ganderbal :A large quantity of illicit timber was seized by Forest Department in Najwan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday..

An official from Forest Department told PTK that a team laid naka at Najwan late night and seized a vehicle bearing registration number Jk16A 6043 with Deodar Timber at Najwan Kangan.

The driver has been identified as Irfan Ahmad Parray son of Gh Nabi Parray of Barwalla Kangan

Legal action has been initiated against the offenders and they have been booked under relevant sections

It is clear that the Najwan Kangan area has been in the headlines for the last several years.(PTK).
