In a stern move against the breach of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, authorities in Ganderbal took decisive action by disengaging a government employee.
Muneer Ahmad Teli, employed as a CPW at Middle School Safapora and a resident of Batpora Safapora, faced immediate disengagement following reports of active participation in election campaigns of a political party, contravening MCC guidelines.
The order, issued by the Nodal Officer MCC Ganderbal, emphasized swift action in line with MCC directives. This step underscores the administration’s commitment to uphold electoral integrity and ensure fair and impartial elections.
