Forest, Wildlife join battle against COVID-19, launch awareness campaign

Srinagar, Apr 13 (PTK): In the scenario of corona crises there are many frontline warriors other than our medical fraternity, Police and security forces who are working round the clock using multi pronged methods to fight Corona and save the human life but now after the confirmed report of positive testing of Tigers in USA for COVID 19 the Jammu and Kashmir wild life and forest Department has geared up its technical Human Resource’s to spread awareness among the people living closer to the forest areas which particularly are the habitation of wild life in Jammu Kashmir.

As per Press Trust of Kashmir (PTK), the forest Department and wild life has deputed some officers for this particular job.

Sajad Shah one young Block officer is rigorously working for the cause and has been on move since the order for such campaign has reached the forest secretariat and this officer has become frontline warrior as he along with his team has been moving to upper reaches of Zabarwan mountain range, harwan and the adjacent areas spreading awareness and warnings to the inhabitants to save their lives and protect others also by strictly remaking inside their homes and away from forest and wildlife habitation. Sajad Shah is not doing less important job than our police, medical fraternity and media who are playing a historical role to tackle this corona crises. (PTK)
