Forces defuse Suspicious substance on Srinagar-Bandipora road

Bandipora, 19 March: Government forces on thursday recovered and defused an Suspecious substance in Nadihal area on Bandipora- Srinagar highway.

An official said that the Suspicious substance was planted in Nadihal area of Bandipora.

Giving details, he said that a patrol party of 14RR recovered the suspicious substance on the highway around 7 am. Soon, they said, traffic movement on the highway was suspended.
A Bomb disposal squad of Bandipora police defused the suspicious substance around 09:18 am without causing any damage, following which traffic movement was restored on the road. (PTK)
