Five residential houses, several cowsheds damaged in Bandipora blaze

 

SRINAGAR (PTK):- At least five residential houses and several cowsheds were damaged in a fire mishap in Grat Nallaha Bandipora area of North Kashmir.

 

An official said that firr broke out in village Grat Nallaha last night during which the five residential houses and several cow sheds were damaged.

 

The structures damaged in the incident belong to Mohammad Afzal Lone s/o Akbar lone, Juma lone s/o Akbar lone , Jabar lone s/o Akbar lone, Faqir-u-din lone S/o Amirullaha lone, Lal Mohammad lone s/o Habib lone, Amirullaha lone s/o Jabar lone, Mushtaq ahmad lone s/o Lal Mohammad lone, Gulab lone S/o Akbar lone, Mohd Haroon lone s/o Juma lone, Gulshan Begum w/o Gh ahmad lone and Bashir Ahmad lone son of Lal Mohd lone.

 

He said several goat/sheep were burnt alive in the fire, however, there was no loss of human life in the incident.

 

He added that fire was later controlled by fire tenders, police, army and locals and cause of fire is being ascertained. (PTK)
