Fire damages BDO office in Bandipora

SRINAGAR, (PTK): A block office building was completely damaged in a devastating fire incident in Aloosa village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on late last night.

An official told Press Trust of Kashmir that building had caught the fire under mysterious circumstances, and all the block records were gutted in the incident. However, the cause of the fire was not known yet.

Soon after the incident took place, a joint of police, fire and emergency men and local volunteers rushed to the spot to douse off the flames, however, the intensity of the fire was too high that nothing could be saved, he said. (PTK)
