Fight against corruption will continue:- Sheikh Imran

Srinagar June 13(PTK)Former Deputy Mayor SMC Srinagar Sheikh Imran on Tuesday thanked government as according to him no confidence motion was conducted in a smooth way.

He also thanked corporators for getting United against corruption, however, he said since after Junaid Azim Matoo got defeated, our corporators are becoming victims of unknown persons which needs to be investigated.

Our corporators threatened by different means and we request government to take care of all attacks on us, he said.

I am not accusing anyone in it and I am confused that people can go to this extend for mere politics but my request it to provide security to all corporators especially corporators who have taken initiative against corruption.

We will continue to fight against corruption, he said, adding that authorities must take cognisance of all issues.(PTK)
