Family allegedly removes electric poles from their land after cutting power to dozens of households

Poles were installed two days before:- locals

Ganderbal May 24 (PTK)  A family has allegedly removed poles from their land during dead of night in Hayan Kangan area of Ganderbal.

Locals while talking with Press Trust of Kashmir said that two days before HT poles were installed in the area to provide power to around 22 households.

They said that during dead of night, their supply was cutted and on Tuesday morning they found  installed poles have been removed.

They alleged that Sajad Ahmad Mir and GH Hassan Mir both sons of Ali Mohammad Mir from other village are involved in the act who are resisting against installing of poles in their land.

Locals alleged that there is 24 feet sanctioned, however, 12 feet have been already encroached by same family and have been often getting involved in fights whatever issue it will.

They requested DC Ganderbal, SDM Kangan and SHO concerned to look into the matter and take action against these persons who often have been restoring to fights.

They also requested them that action must be taken against the encroachers. (PTK)
