Major Fire Breaks Out in Warwan’s Mangli, Several Houses Reduced to Ashes

Kishtwar, September 30 (PTK): A massive fire broke out in the Mangli area of Warwan Valley in Kishtwar district on Wednesday, damaging several residential structures and triggering panic among local residents.
According to officials, the fire erupted in a densely populated residential area and rapidly spread to adjoining houses, most of which are reportedly wooden structures. Local residents immediately launched efforts to contain the flames, but the blaze continued to spread due to the closely packed houses.
Preliminary information suggests that around 12 residential houses have been completely gutted in the incident. However, there have been no reports of loss of life so far.
Police and fire-fighting teams have reached the affected area, while efforts are underway to bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading further.
The exact cause of the fire and the extent of property damage are yet to be ascertained.(PTK)
