Driver Killed, Conductor Injured After Truck Falls Into Gorge In Anantnag

Srinagar December 12 (PTK) A tragic road accident occurred in Anantnag district of South Kashmir when a truck carrying bricks lost control and fell into a deep gorge at Margan Top. The truck was en route from Anantnag to Warwan when the driver lost control, leading to the fatal crash. The driver was declared dead upon being taken to a nearby hospital, while the conductor sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.

Emergency teams, including the police, quickly responded to the scene, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is underway. The incident highlights the challenging road conditions in the region and the need for enhanced safety measures to prevent such tragedies:-(PTK)
