Police attaches property worth lakhs of Proclaimed Offenders in Sopore

SRINGAR 20(PTK): Police in Sopore have attached 4 kanals and 2 marlas of orchard land belonging to two proclaimed offenders namely Afroz Ahmad War son of Mohammad Maqbool War and Maqsood Ahmad War son of Sona-u-llah War, both residents of Warpora Sopore under Survey numbers 3225, 3950, 3956 and 2384 in Estate Warpora Sopore.

This action is connected to case FIR No. 28/2008 U/S 2/3 EMCO, 120B, 121 IPC and 7/24 Arms Act.

The attachment was executed under the provisions of Sections 82, 83 of CRPC, by a team of Police and Revenue officials, after receiving approval from competent authority.
