CRPF Man shoots self dead in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, 19 Dec (PTK) : A central Reserve Police Force

(CRPF) trooper on Sunday allegedly shot himself dead with his service rifle at a camp in Gund area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Official sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper of 118 Battalion, identified as Deonath Yadav son of Surat Yadav a resident of Mirzapur Uttar Pradesh ended his life by shooting himself with his service rifle in Gund Ganderbal on Sunday.

A police official told Press Trust Of Kashmir that the proceedings have been launched into the incident. It was not immediately known what made the constable take the extreme step, he adds. (PTK)
