Cross border firing along LOC in Uri

Uri, August 16 (PTK) India and Pakistan armies on Sunday exchanged gunfire along the line of control (LoC) in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official said that armies trade firing along the LoC in Kamalkote area of Uri in the morning.

He said that there was no injury or causality was reported from Indian side, however a cow got killed during exchange.

Pakistan once again initiated an Unprovoked Ceasefire Violation (CFV) today along the LoC in Kamalkote, Kundi and Birjala Sector, Uri in the morning hours by firing Mortars and other weapon, said an Army officer.

He said the Indian Army is giving them a befitting response to the ceasefire violation.(PTK)
