Covid-19:- 22 more tested positive in J&K, toll reaches 300
SRINAGAR :-Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory on Wednesday reported 22 new cases of COVID-19 taking toll of total number of positive cases to 300.
“Among todays positive cases, four are from Jammu division while as 18 are from Kashmir division, they said adding that among 18 cases of valley, 15 were confirmed from SKIMS Lab while as 3 at Chest Disease Hospital Lab,” Officials added.
“22 new cases reported from J&K today. Jammu-4 Kashmir-18. All contacts of positive cases. Total number of positive cases now 300 Jammu-54 and Kashmir-246.

Officials said that among todays 18 cases from Kashmir eight are from Ganderbal, two from Kupwara, three from Srinagar and five from Bandipora and Baramulla districts.
Medical Supridentent Distric Hospital Ganderbal Mr Mehraj U Din Confirmed 8 new cases from Ganderbal.The total number of COVID-19 patients in Ganderbal now 13.
“2 more positives from Red Zone Anderhama Kupwara, both contacts of earlier positive patient. Both are asymptomatic and are doing fine. Primary contacts being traced for quarantine and sampling,” said officials from Kupwara, adding that no more positives cases were reprted from any of the other Red Zones of the district.
Meanwhile officials from SKIMS said that four patients including a minor were discharged after their complete recovery while as officials from Pulwama said that two positive patients were discharged from district hospital Pulwama, both belong to Shopian district.(PTK)
