BJP national VP takes up issue of contractual teachers with Guv Malik

SRINAGAR, (PTK): Bhartiya Janata Party National Vice president Avinash Rai Khanna today met shri Governor Satya Pal Malik and took up the issue of 1200 protesting contractual teachers who demand continuation of their job.

According to BJP state spokesman, Altaf Thakur, Khanna discussed in detail the issues confronting the 1200 contractual teachers who are all well qualified and whose services have been diacontinued by the education department in May this year. Thakur said that the Governor Malik assured Khanna that he will have a humanitarian look at the issues of protesting contractual teachers and their issues will be resolved.

Earlier, the president of contractual teachers association, Adil Gulzar had submitted a detailed memorandum to Khanna in Srinagar, who assured all possible support to him.
